I, too, am looking for a way to remove a theme from the directory -
from the sounds of it, the process to remove works even worse than the
submission process?

I am a professional designer and was commissioned to replace a bad
theme with a professionally developed one - mine is done and we need
to get the bad one out of the directory.

Is there really no way to request themes to come down?
