I'm not saying you are complaining. I'm saying that this forum has way
too much complaining compared to real content. I'm not even sure there
is a google employee sitting around waiting for theme designers to
complain and whine about their themes. If I were google I would listen
only to the questions about technical issues. Complaints should be
made by the users, not the designers. Designers say that they want
this or that, but really this belongs in the hands of the people that
download themes.
Designers are not the final user, they are people that want others to
use their themes. What complaints can we have? Google puts up
everyone's themes, including those made with copyrighted material! I
may personally think that certain themes shouldn't be up that are
created by theme developers, but who am I to say no? Some themes are
no better than user created themes. So what? Google has set up a free
customizable theme creator for all to use. Yeah, maybe they have some
flaws in the system, but they could also just allow their created
themes.
I'm just saying why are designers sitting here complaining about
something out of their control? Maybe Google is waiting for the
whining to stop. I would not choose to necessarily help those that are
constantly complaining and talking bad about me or my business because
they don't get everything that they want out of a free product. Google
is offering a free product, it would be way different if you had to
pay to submit or use the themes.
This forum needs to rethink itself, and focus on more important issues.
