I agree with everyone who is asking for the old two column interface.
Two columns were much better. The new interface is terrible with the
small text window.

There should be an option to turn off the live translation.

One feature that is used on http://translation.paralink.com/ is a
third window for back translations, which is truly needed for accurate
translations. I always use both translators together. I use the
paralink.com because the translations from English and spell checking,
and it tends to use the proper grammar/genders, much better than
google. But from other languages to English, google was better. So
when I received email from someone, I would translate using google to
English, but write my reply using paralink. Then I would check the
back translation in paralink and copy and paste the tranlated text in
google for a double check of the foriegn to English translation. Then
correct what needed correcting.

For those who do not use back translation when writing, you can create
some very confusing documents. For example: I was writing
instructions to a German colleague on how to position a patient in a
medical scanner. I describe how the patient should raise their arms
over their head, followed by putting their arms down. The back
translation gave me "raise weapons overhead' and "lower your guns".
Not what I wrote.
