Because it thinks it is a name, probably. One would not usually want
"The Daily Telegraph" to be translated to "Den daglige telegrafen"
etc.
So what it says on Microsoft's translator applies here too: Watch your
spelling, use punctuation and capital letters correctly, to get the
best result.
Just two questions:
1. what language were you translating to?
2. what kind of odd sentence is that? I doubt I could translate it
accurately to Norwegian without more context
