I wanted to add one more thing. It might be nice to add a Romaji translation option as well. Japanese > Romaji would be much more accurate, and be much easier for someone like me to read because I understand many words, but I am not familiar with many Kanji. Although it would still be somewhat difficult to translate the Kanji to Romaji, or even simplify it to hiragana.
What I would suggest is a somewhat interactive system. When the page is translated it does it as normal, but when you highlight certain words or phrases, alternate options are available, such as viewing it as romaji or hiragana.
