I have a mischievous thought. No doubt the CIA and MI5,6 etc. will be monitoring this. I feel that Google translate should offer its technology in order to provide OWL (Ontological Web Language) for analysis. I think Watson should know about this posting. I have a suggestion I would like to make to them (who will no doubt read this).
I think that MI5/6 should get in touch with Arne Ranta who is running MOLTO. MOLTO will provide OWL as well as translation. There is a strong connection between alerts, OWL and translation. In fact OWL could be regarded as another language which you translate to. I think that one way GT could be improved is in fact to have a factual database. Watson finds the most probable response in Jeopardy. Why can't Google do the same thing? MI5/6 should be interested in Jeopardy with a capital "J".
