I have been having the same trouble as you and I have tried getting help from this useless forum, but it seems that Google doesn't feel like fixing the problem. I have had this problem for some time now. Maybe it has something to do with Firefox's ADD ONS. When I first got the Translation Toolbar Add On, the default language worked fine. I have tried looking for a way to contact Google, but they only list this useless forum, where it is the blind leading the blind. Google and Firefox want you to use their programs, but do not give ANY support for when their programs screw up. Philip, Calgary
