The Google Translator is wrongly translating 'Automaker' into Portuguese as 'Montadora'. Please correct it for it is spreading throughout Brazil. It's about the same as in Spanish, difference is slight: Fabricante de automóveis.
'Montadora' means assembler, as it is correct put in your translating tool. The use of 'montadora' in Brazil to describe an automaker is a word misuse and Google Tradutor will do a good service by telling people the exact meaning of automaker in Portuguese. It's also wrong from English to Italian, not just 'automobili' but "produttore di automobili'. BS -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
