Hi bandwife, Unfortunately Urdu is one of our "alpha" languages, meaning the translation quality for that language isn't quite up to the standard we have for all our other languages. For that reason, we make Urdu available on translate.google.com, but we don't make it more widely available through APIs and other interfaces to Translate.
You have found a bug, which is we shouldn't list Urdu as a possibility on the Element configuration panel, however fixing that bug just means removing the option there, which doesn't help you much :-/ Hopefully we'll be able to improve Urdu quality enough soon such that we can make it a full-fledged non-alpha language, and then it will be available in the Element.
