Of course I can try to describe what's wrong, but it's not simple :) It will be better if I can record myself when I pronounce these words correctly. Controversie should sound like controverSSie and not controversIIe, and ergastolo should sound like: EErgastolo and not ergastolo. Just go to http://text-to-speech.imtranslator.net/ and choose italian and type this two words: controversie, ergastolo. This site work good! It pronounce these two words exactly like they should sound. I think many other words in italian, google pronounce the wrong way! It's a big problem for who learn to speak italian, because these people learn the wrong pronunciation of the words! And, you should know - in Italy it's VERY important to pronounce the words in right mode. I hope you can solve this problem! Thank you a lot!
