First off the change to allow you to choose alternate translations is very nice and much better than the previous interface. I use Google Translate mainly to learn new words etc. There is a problem in the new format.
When you hover on the translated text, it highlights the portion which it has translated. This 1 to 1 correspondence breaks down when letters with non standard English letters such as é or î come in the original text. There seems to be a direct relation between the offset of the highlighted text and the number of occurrences of such letters. The translation itself is not affected in anyway.
