For translations like English to Japanese, the syntax is almost the opposite.
Drag-and-drop will let UGC fix translations such as this: "WEB John Smith Support Center" should become "John Smith, WEB Support Center" The point generalizes to all translations where the results are out of order. Also, we should be able to hover and tag the word as a type of word: As in "partner" or "hand": (partnerNoun / partnerVerb) (handNoun / handVerb) It fits Google's probabalistic method because these conventions, and the most common pairs of words (phone booth / phone closet??) are generally accepted in the society. No doubt you're aware, and capable of setting it up. As for who it benefits, it's basic that users contribute because it benefits the whole group who want a translation collective to exist, and Google finds various ways to monetize it as they arise. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
