To add further to this mystery, if the Laptop uses Firefox to navigate
to:

http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2008/10/helping-you-break-language-barrier.html

then the Google Translate widget embedded on the right hand side of
that page works!!!

So sometimes in works in Firefox and sometimes it doesn't!!!  Why???
