If a foreign visitor comes to my site using "Translate this page",
some of my pages don't work. GT seems to play around with some of my
HTML and throws out links that it can't cope with. This makes the
translated version of my site totally unuseable.
Is there any way that I can tell GT to not mess around with certain
areas of my code? In this way, some of my site could be translated,
while other areas that GT has problems with, can have the original
language.
The problem seems to stem from a section on my site that offers a
table-like list of divs, each of which are contained within an anchor.
It works very nicely in all the browsers, but GT gets upset because
"you shouldn't have a div inside an anchor", so it just throws away
the anchor. The result being that the site is unusable.
What I need is a div that can surround the table, with some attribute
that tells GT to leave the contents alone.
