So to make explanation simple just copy this to Google translate: 漁業 with the setting of English to Japanese. look at the results, it's a completely different Kanji (not even Japanese).
I often use this English to Japanese and type in Kanjis with combination of rikaikun to get more information about a Kanji in a quick and easy way. (rikaikun is a fast translator add on for Chrome, much like rikaichan for firefox) So it is annoying when the Kanjis are copied in such a messed up way.
