I want to be able to do the following to quickly translate a selected word
or text;

1. Select the word or text( on a website, in Chrome).

2. Right click, and select Google translate from the extentions menu...

3. Be taken to the Google Translate website in a new tab, where the word or
text is automatically translated (into the last used language settings...I'm
studying spanish at the moment..)

Can't see any reason why this could not be part of the Google Translate
extention...

(Today the only two options is to translate the whole page... who uses this
feature anyway?... and/or select the text, copy, then manually open a new
tab, find the Google Translate bookmark somewhere... then click to go there,
hit paste....you know... cumbersome...
