I have tried to replicate on Mac OS X with Chrome 17.0.963.79 , Safari 5.1.3, Firefox 9.0.1 and Opera 11.61 r1287
I was able to reproduce this behavior with Opera and Safari. Chrome and Firefox don't have such behavior.
