Are there control characters for Google Translate that prevent
sections of text from being translated?  For example, say I typed

     à prendre matin midi et soir

but after seeing/hearing the translation I only wanted to see/hear the
translation for "prendre".  Instead of deleting the other text
(because I might want to go back to it or keep an on-going list), it
might be helpful if I could "comment-out" the surrounding text.
Imagine something like this

    à [prendre] matin midi et soir

Or better yet, if Google Translate would show/say the translation for
the highlighted text, if the user selects that.
