Hi, I'm also having trouble entering accents into google translate.

I did look around online for help, but I'm on a laptop and using the
numeric keypad for alt-codes is extremely inconvenient. The only other way
I saw of entering accents is via the traditional microsoft commands (ie,
CTRL+' for an acute accent, CTRL+` for a grave accent, CTRL+SHIFT+^ for an
accent circumflex).

Unfortunately, while these accents work in the chrome URL-bar, they don't
work in the textbox used by google translate, and in fact they also don't
work in the textbox I'm using to write this message, and I suspect it also
won't work in gmail.

I'm trying to read a french paper, and while I know some french, there are
often words or idioms I don't know. It would make my life a lot easier if
you could support these windows accent commands in your google translate
textbox, so I wouldn't have to type what I want translated in wordpad and
copy/paste that into the google translate textbox.

thanks
