I looked at a Wikipedia article in English that didn't have a Punjabi or
Hindi translation. I tried entering the address into the Google
translator, English to Hindi, but it didn't translate the site, and copying
and pasting the article directly into the translator didn't work, so I
copied and pasted the article into a Word document, removed the hyperlinks,
and copied and pasted that into the translator. There's no available
Punjabi or Hindi font (all I saw were a bunch of boxes), but I played the
audio translation for my husband who's main language is Punjabi, but he
also understands Hindi. I don't know either language. I understood the
original written English text, but when he told me what the voice was
saying, it was completely different from what the Wikipedia article is
about. I thought maybe he was misunderstanding the subject matter and was
giving his assumption of what was being talked about, but he insisted. I
have no way to verify it because I have no one else at present to play it
for. Is is it possible for the translator software to be hijacked so that
no matter what is put in someone's personal agenda is going to come out?
