I am also having the same problem. I want my website to automatically
translate from English to Spanish and Portuguese, so I decided to use
Google Website Translator plugin. The feature that caught my attention was
the fact that I can change the translations made for my website, which I
know is very useful because machine translation still makes mistakes. As
expected, there were some errors that needed fixing. I fixed the
translation, but the text did not changed. I refreshed the page, change
browsers, fix the translation again, but nothing was working. I went to the
Website Translator Manager, and decided to add the change there, but when I
went back to my website, the change was not apparent. I really hope that
there is a fix to this, since it would be very tedious to manually encode
the translation to my website that I expect to scale.
