Since Translate doesn't have Nepali now and Hindi uses the same alphabet, Google will falsely recognize it as Hindi. It doesn't help that Nepali and Hindi have cognates in common. Other languages that are similar and use same alphabets have the same problem. The only way Translate will recognize it as Nepali is if it has a sufficient database for Nepali. The only way it can gain a sufficient database right now is if people that have access to Nepali-English documents or are multilingual. That would solve the problem and allow Translate to support another language.
