Firstly, having experimented a little with GeoMap it is a great tool! A couple of problems I have with it:
1) There is no subdivision of regions beyond the ISO 3166 countries 2) The actual "shapes" used for the countries are crude (especially in Europe and especially when zoomed in). They do not tile well and are over simplified. Wikimedia have some blank SVG maps that could be used as a better basis for the GeoMap maps. The SVG shapes are tagged with ISO codes.
