I have created a figure based on the geomap package for publication in a scientific journal. I am having trouble figuring out if publishing figures generated by Google Maps was allowable under Google's Terms of Use (for example, some journals do not allow open access to their articles), and if it was, how I would cite the visualization tool and geomap package. If anyone could help me out, I would appreciate it!
