The google visualisation API is great. I have been able to really
easily get some scatterplots working for some scientific data in the
web application I am developing. However the major drawback for
scientific data remains to be the fact that there is no way to plot
error bars. After giving a presentation yesterday, it is evident that
I will have to move to another method of visualisations as my users
need this information on their graphs to see which data points are
highly significant.

Is there any way to plot error bars currently? Is this planned for the
future? Also, I was wondering if there were plans to further extend
the API visualisations to do more, such as using different shapes on
the scatterplot?

Thanks.
