Well, I'm asking for error bars:

If, for instance, let's say you have a bar chart and the mean of
particular data set is 5.  As it is currently, you are basically
saying that your 100% certain the value is 5 (ie. standard deviation
of 0).  Or at best you are saying that it is 5 and you don't know what
the confidence interval is (which makes it worthless).  So, to do it
right, you would need to place an error bar on the chart going from
4-6 (for instance) because that represents the 95% (for instance)
confidence interval.  This is *absolutely* necessary whenever you use
discrete data.  The only time you shouldn't have an error bar is when
the value is absolute (so basically whenever stats are involved you
should have error bars).
