The following worked for me:
I had (no new line beween the doctype and the html tag begining):
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"  "http://
www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"><html xmlns="http://
www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

Now I have (a new line between the doctype and the html tag):
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"  "http://
www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml";>

It fixed the issue.
Hope it helps someone.
