I am experiencing the same issue... After struggling for several hours, I gave up. If you need more information, you can click on http://performancegurus.net/blog.html and then click on Read More to see how it shows up in a WordPress Blog. A quick search on the web re: embedding Javascript in WordPress revealed that WordPress does not allow Javascripts unless you have a Full WordPress installation (whatever this means!).
Any help re: this would be useful.
