You can indeed convert the charts to png files (see this 
thread<https://groups.google.com/d/topic/google-visualization-api/YTD_JxX_RFc/discussion>).
 
 Note that you can only do this in browsers that support both SVG and 
canvas elements (basically everything except IE < 9).
