Thanks for the reply Sergey, Perhaps in the meantime could your team add asterisks or side notes on which features do not have implementation in Materials yet on this page: https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/linechart#configuration-options ?
It's a bit confusing to see this option in the config list and not realize it's yet to be implemented in Materials. Glad it's not a bug though and eventually will be incorporated!
