Hi Henry, Unfortunately, we were not able to update the version you get with the jsapi loader beyond version 42. So to load version 43, you have to use the new loader, which is described here: https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/basic_load_libs v43 is 'current' at this time, so let us know if this doesn't fix the problem for you.
