The material charts that we implemented turned out to be somewhat of a dead-end regarding completion of the features. This is because we started using a new framework internally for these charts, but that framework is not something we want to continue using.
So instead, you can use the theme: 'material' option to get the fonts and colors of the material design, and we will add the few additional features and styles of the material charts into the corecharts with this theme: 'material' style. Eventually, the material charts will redirect to the corecharts with this theme: 'material' style.
