I left some of the "hosted mode" references, particularly around the internal bits of GWT, which most developers will never look at. There's still some stuff there which legitimately, I think, references "hosted mode", so I stayed clear of those changes (for now). Happy to add any you think we should change as well, or do a follow up patch with that stuff.
