Hi all,

I'm wondering if it was possible that GWT can apply as an umbrella
organization for GSOC projects [1].

Almost important frameworks and software foundations participate in this
program (jruby, rails, clojure, debian, mozilla, chromiun, apache, ...)

Last 2 years gwtquery tried to apply to the program because we had some
student ideas, we were rejected, though, because we were a small project.

I think this is a good opportunity for receiving interesting ideas from
students and make GWT more visible to the opensource community and
Universities.

Could the SC support this idea? I am volunteer to fill in the form or give
some help since I've already mentoring students under the Apache umbrella.
There is no so much time though.

Thanks
- Manolo
