I have being using GWT-Ext and their widgets are stylish and amazing, and it really saves you work. But the problem is use it in all the application, actually I mix up GWT and GWT-Ext to improve the performance, because the GWT-Ext "doLayout()" method is heavy... and it's expensive when you try to nest all their widgets. Also, as a product of my experience, I have seen that not all the widgets and layouts from GWT-Ext work as they should.
