2 gwt team: just make the com.google.gwt.user.client.ui.Widget.setParent(Widget parent) PUBLIC. I want to take all responsibility for my code. As I think, GWT should not be "child safe", we are not in MS camp, where guys often think for(instead of) me. I want to think myself. If I want to step out of the sandbox bounds, then all possible negative consequences(memory leaks, attach/detach chain break etc) become my problem not yours. It is not possible to prevent or protect people to make foolishness :) Simply, it is unnecessary foolproof.
Sorry for my terrible English :) Dmitry. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Web Toolkit" group.
