Guess I don't see the point, I can't think of anything I've needed to do that can't be done with Composite and/or Panel. Do you have a specific example of something *commonly* done that'd be much easier with this class? Otherwise it would seem to be unnecessarily bloating the API and thus creating more confusion, just to make a rare case slightly easier. Sometimes less is more...
