I found the conflicting class in these jar files:
- jasper-compiler-jdt.jar
- jasper-jdt.jar
The jasper-jdt.jar is a standard jar file shipped with Tomcat 6.0 in the
lib directory.
Once I removed those jar files from my classpath, the problem went away
for me.
