Dave Blickstein Project Manager, Spiral Universe Job Title: Senior Java Software / Database Developer Reports To: Software Engineering Manager Overall Responsibility: This individual will be responsible for overall design, development, deployment, and maintenance of database and middle-tier application server level systems in a distributed environment. They will aid in direction of programming team activities to deliver software according to specification and standards. Help provide architectural oversight to ensure compliance with standards and best practices for the software systems. They will work closely with project management team in analyzing status of project. Individual must be a self-starter; possess excellent communication and organizational skills along with the ability to work well under pressure. Assist with the development of procedures and processes to improve operational efficiency. Individual will also mentor other team members. Education Requirements: BS in Computer Science or other related field, or equivalent training or experience.
