Hello! What kind of hardware would reduce gwt compiling time from minutes to seconds? Currently, 80%-90% of my time is spent waiting for the compiler (myproject-compile.bat) to finish its job: 20-30secs edits/ tweaks (GUI stuff is somewhat erratic in "pure" GWT, and needs a lot of trial-and-error work), 3 minutes' compiles... Very unproductive.
In general, I'm beginning to question the promised productivity savings - pure javascript approach does not entail compiling at all, and browser differences that are supposed to be hidden by GWT are not that well hidden in reality... Can somebody with a solid javascript UI development experience share their view of the extent to which GWT saves development time? Thanks!
