I found a fix. I didn't uninstall my old installation of JRE before I installed JDK. So I unistalled both and reinstalled JDK. It's still kind of odd, because I get the same problem if I just click the run button on the tool bar. But if I fiddle with it, like select something inside the StockWatcher project and click run, or if I run by right clicking the project and go to "run as" it works. Very strange.
