Thanks! Unfortunately that didn't work either. Just to see what
happens, I tried:
private static native void getURL(String url)
/*-{
$wnd.open('http://www.itv-f1.com/','target=_blank');
}-*/;
and I get the same error, which suggests to me maybe it's not the string type.
