Well, as a user there's been a lot of times when I wanted to save the contents of a JavaScript generated page (such as when the web page wants to give me something I can print out, but not something I can save to disk and use later).
But, as a Developer, I'd like to not have to hand-generate HTML in order to save the contents of my page.
