There was a post<http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit/issues/detail?id=4325#c99> about the performance of the plugin for Chrome. Obviously this is not related to the plugin itself (see post for details) so I guess we will have to live with it and/or use a different browser than Chrome.
Maybe a plugin specialist could clear things up for us especially since this is not a bug in the plugin?
