FWIW, IE9 also supports rounded corners. The TabLayoutPanel formatting has some good improvements, but the solid blue band across the top is a bit intense. I'd maybe lose it, round the tabs, and use a slightly more muted color for the tab background colour. If the tabs were formatted exactly like the stack panel items, I think they would look quite nice.
