i use version 2.1.0-1 the last one... for now. I have a response from gwt-maven-plugin team :
The new release (2.2.0) will mostly only upgrade plugin dependencies, so don't expect a fix. >From my understanding of the stacktrace, GWT Designer don't support using the M2E Classpath container.
