There are a number of ways to do this depending on your situation. You should read up on CSS positioning. Try here:
http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_reference.asp#positioning Generally, you'll be using the properties such as: text-align, vertical-align, top, left, and sometimes margin. Do some experimenting.
