Hello,
you can add a Style-Name and format the element with a css-class:

fooButton.setStyleName("test");

CSS file:
.test {
 cssAttribute: value;
}

Maybe you have to add the keyword "!importand" for attributes that
were set by the gwt-framework.

rjcarrs link will help you to get the right attributes for the
positioning of your elements.
