I tried to modify the reload method like this, but without success:
public void reload ()
{
pvd.updateRowCount (0,true); // avoid to many visible rows
Range r = tbl.getVisibleRange();
tbl.setVisibleRangeAndClearData (r,true);
loadRecordCount (); // asynchronously load the real record count
}
