No, it's an issue when compiling with the GWT Compiler while processing the gwtar files packaged in the gwt-user.jar (see issue 7530). And the Oracle JDK is apparently not an option on some OSes (see the thread in gwt-steering) Moreover, the fix seems to be rather simple: follow java.io.Serializable contract and provide an explicit serialVersionUID (and make sure we change it whenever we modify the classes) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Web Toolkit" group.
